The Mission

Where passion turns

to purpose

As a parent, we get to experience unconditional love for family and children. The things that become important to our children become important to us. Through our children’s eyes we begin to see the world through a different lens. The current climate in our society and in our children’s social environment can teach us about the overall well-being and challenges they face. I’ve heard numerous stories about the hardships that our children’s generation face. These hardships range from cyberbullying, physical and emotional confrontation, drugs being pushed in multiple forms, and the long term damage each of these can have on a young mind.

I’m not the type of person that doesn’t like to be an outsider, looking in on a difficult situation, and refusing to believe that there’s nothing anyone can do. But I realize that our youth aren’t always that passionate. Most children are scared to speak to their own parents about sensitive topics, much less speak to someone that’s almost a “stranger” at school – or a school counselor. And I got tired of hearing the stories on the news, when it’s too late to speak up about a child that has gone beyond breaking point or worse, and then listened to how many people knew about the circumstance but never spoke up.

The mission behind

the vision

Guardian was intended to allow any student and/or parent to be able to be a voice in proxy of another person, when they recognize a potential threat of violence, bullying, or harming their mental well being in any way. Furthermore, I’ve always wondered how magnificent it could be to make a massive positive difference in this world even after I’ve passed on. Ultimately, all of these parameters is what helped in the vision behind Guardian.

And I hope and pray that parents, organizations, athletes, governments, and anyone else that shares a similar passion for trying to make a positive change and perhaps saving a child’s life, can understand how important this can be. And through a shared passion and contributions to the Guardian organization, it will hopefully allow us to be able to provide these resources to schools and other institutes free of charge always.

EDUCATORS ARE INNOVATORS

Educators that truly care about kids and the spaces in which they inhabit are the reason we established and maintained ‘The Guardian Vision’

To provide a platform where both kids and adults can engage and help prevent harm to others.

To provide a comfortable environment where students can anonymously report acts of bullying or other forms of abuse they witness against others.

To also provide a streamlined process where a school admin can leverage their protocols to help intervene, and ultimately make a difference!

This is and will continue to be a place designed to allow all of us to be a proxy, come together, and perhaps even save someone’s life.

I hope and pray that parents, organizations, athletes, governments, and anyone else that shares a similar passion for trying to make a positive change and perhaps saving a child’s life, can understand how important this can be
